Food for the Hungry Indonesia is an independent non-governmental organization based in Medan, North Sumatera and operates in North Sumatera Province and the Mentawai Islands, West Sumatera Province. Food for the Hungry Indonesia started working in Indonesia after the December 2004 tsunami killed 283,000 people. Food for the Hungry Indonesia worked with devastated communities to help them rebuild their lives and homes. In 2011, Food for the Hungry Indonesia began a long-term development work and currently we are working to address all forms of human poverty, visible and invisible through livelihood, education, health and DRR sectors. Our purpose is graduating communities from extreme poverty.

Procurement Officer (Medan)
Position Purpose
To Purchases goods or services for organization, to obtain quality products for competitive prices in a timely fashion. Plays an integral role in ensuring to budgets and value for organization. To manage the procurement team to source quotations and supplies/goods using professional, agreements and negotiate, honest and trustworthy suppliers upholding our Procurement policy, Enlistment and procedures according to FH Heartbeat.
The Procurement Officer (LO) serves FH Project to provide procurement of goods and services following Authority policies, procedures and applicable local regulations. Duties include planning, scheduling, initiating, monitoring and quality assurance of all procurement and contract activities. Work requires independent and professional judgement and is performed under the direction of the Procurement Manager.
Working area for this role are but not limited in Country Office and related threshold.
