Our
organization, YBTS seeks a position of Deputy Manager, based in Jakarta with
full-time employment.
As
an extension arm of PT. East West Seed Indonesia, keep close to farmers to
guide and encourage their success in vegetable farming. Giving excellent services
and visiting our farmers across Indonesia is how we are present and overcome
challenges in togetherness. With the company’s support, YBTS services can be
extended to farmers in remote areas and less penetrated markets to reach a
greater number of people. YBTS delivers knowledge transfer and technical
accompaniment to smallholder farmers across Indonesia. We have seen more
outreach in less developed areas where smallholder farmers need help with
technical support in improving vegetable production.
Position: Data and Monev
Officer
Main responsibilities:
As a Data and Monev Officer, his/her primary
responsibility is to collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate the
effectiveness and impact of programs, projects, initiatives, and business
processes in Yayasan Bina Tani Sejahtera (YBTS). Data and Monev Officer will
collaborate with various departments/functions in YBTS, stakeholders/donors to
understand data requirements, design data management strategies, and implement
data governance practices. He/She will play a crucial role in providing
evidence-based insights and recommendations for decision-making and continuous
improvement.
Job Description:
- Data Collection and Management:
- Design and implement data collection methods and tools, such as surveys, interviews, and observations
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of collected data.
- Develop and maintain databases or information systems to store and manage data effectively.
Data Analysis and
Interpretation:
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using appropriate statistical and analytical techniques
- Identify patterns, trends, and relationships within the data to draw meaningful conclusions
- Interpret findings and present them in a clear and concise manner through reports, presentations, or visualizations.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, including performance indicators and targets.
- Conduct regular monitoring activities to track progress and identify areas of improvement.
- Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of programs or interventions based on established evaluation methodologies.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive reports together with Manager, Project Coordinator, and Team leader, including data analysis, evaluation results, and recommendations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, management, or funding agencies.
- Maintain documentation related to data collection, analysis, and evaluation processes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the manager, project teams (PC, TL, TFO), and stakeholders to understand data needs and evaluation requirements.
- Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to various audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on data collection, analysis, and evaluation methods.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor data quality and implement measures to address any issues or discrepancies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, methodologies, and technologies in data collection and evaluation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as statistics, economics, social sciences, agriculture sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in data collection, analysis, and evaluation, preferably in a monitoring and evaluation role.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and ability to work
with accuracy and precision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in alignment with organizational values and culture.
